Botanica
Botanica is an ongoing series mixing science and illustration. I have studied and referenced various species of plants, fungi, flowers, seeds and all things botanical. With these sketches and studies I have tried to merge the scientific illustration aspect while mixing it with my unique interpretation and exploration of the visual presentation of these species. I have explored unnatural colours, textures as well as forms in some cases.
My exploration of mixing my illustration skills with my love of nature has resulted in a long term ongoing personal project of making informative illustrated content.
