About
Pia Meenakshi is an artist and illustrator based in Bangalore, India. She explores the world through painting, printmaking and projects involving paper, sculpture and mixed media. Commercially, she enjoys creating children’s books and illustrating for publishers.
Her love for plants, animals and magic help her create inspirational pieces that blur the lines between real, fantastical and the occult.
She is the founder of Pigmenta, an art supplies company that caters to artists through workshops, classes and products. She currently lives in Bangalore in her studio where she practices printmaking, painting and teaches art.
